When it comes to location, it’s a case of best of both worlds at the Globales Bouganvilla. You can reach one of Sa Coma’s sandy beaches in a five-minute drive or 20-minute walk and the shop and restaurant filled town centre, is a few minutes away on foot.

Back at base, most of the action’s centred around the waterpark. Little ones have their own section with bite-sized slides, water fountains and a tipping bucket. Grown-ups and older kids, meanwhile, can let loose on the eight bigger chutes.

The Free-fall and Kamikaze speed slides make the list, too.

Height restrictions: The Multi-Lane slide, Black Hole, Aqua Tube, Free-fall, Kamikaze and Wave Slide all have a height restriction of 1.2m
